i was just wondering whats wrong about the tubiflex worms cause everyone say not to use them i see all my local pet stores carrie them so just curious

Tubifex worms are dirty and they harbor parasites and toxins. Tubifex can grow in toxin environment, and those toxins do not have effect on the worms. Dead tubifex worms pollute your water.
Hmmm .. These are what i know about tubifex worms.

thanks but i think ima just stick to frozen foods for my discus can get it anytime from my local pet shops thanks anyways guys

hey Crazy,

You really should try CBW just once. You would not believe the response you will get from your fish. They go absolutely ape$#@! over them! Seriously, just order a 1/2 pound and see what happens. :o

Good idea. I have big beautiful fish that were never fed tubifex/blackworms. With frozen and other prepared foods the fish get plenty of nutrition. Just got some brine shrimp flake from Brineshrimpdirect.com....all my discus love the stuff & are munching it down....its 50% protein, 8.95 for 11oz. can!! later, J.T.

kool nightowl ill go get some tommorrow and try them out for my babies
