It sounds like they are not fertilized. Is he sliding his papilla over the eggs?

Harry,
What I just read it appears that your male is not old enough yet.
From my experiences the males are the last to mature. I work with the Reds. On average the males are about 13 months old before they get all the kinks worked out.
I have blues the have had very nice spawns at 12 months and 95% of the eggs hatched and I am growing them out now.
Give them some time and they will surprise you soon.

Harry, if you are working with a male blue diamond it may be even longer.....some BD males are good at 12 months or so but I think you will find that most mature a little later and it may be in that 16-20 month range before they are ready

Howdy Smokey,

I was going over some of the older stuff and just happened to read this.

Seems like that's what Cary was referring to the "37% hyde".

Thanks Keith.

I never thought "hyde" was the abbrevation for formaldehyde. [duh].

I used hyde for anti fungal, on eggs, back in the late '90's. I had great success it.
I was a great suppported of using 37/11.

Remember ... be very careful and use proper ventilation. ok.
