Discus and Shrimp?

I was just wondering, if amano/ghost shrimp could be kept with discus, because my clown pleco is not very good at getting rid of the algae. So i was thinking of buying like 6 amano shrimpa and like 2 or 3 ghost shrimp with about 4 cories. For the tank cleaners. Would that work? Would the discus eat the shrimp?

I have tried to keep shrimp in my planted discus tank. They don't live for very long. Water may be too warm??

Discus will eat the shrimp. Amano shrimp are expensive treats, but I but the ghost shrimp once in a while and the fish love them.

i used to keep ghost shrimp with my discus in a planted tank. some of them got to a pretty good size and were always interesting to watch, especially when eating.
however, you will notice that every now and then one or 2 will go missing. yup, i'm guessing they were eaten.
