fog from phosphates

Hello,

I just started using Phosban to control the level of phosphates and aglae in my tank, but now I have a fog of green happening.

I guessing this is not normal. Should I check for anything else?

Ph is about 6.2.- 6.4, using peat in the Fluval 404. Temp is about 88. The light is on for about 12hrs a day.

Hi,
What is your wc routine?
Is the wc water high in phosphates? I Think Jim Shedden used a phosphate sponge with good success.

I would also use less light. Only 8 hours per day?
