Hello guys, as you know there are some discus with pepers over the body (black dots) ... when they breed will the frys have the same peppering as the parents (will u get clean ones out of them) ... in the other hand if you have clean parents will u have pepers in the frys

I thought peppering was caused by like dark colors, like if you have a black background, then your discus will get peppering. But i think this only occurs with PB strains, as i think 3 of my discus are from the same parents, they mgiht not be, but one has peppering and two are VERY clean.
The black pepper is due to black pigment cells in the skin of the discus pb, having a light background will lighten up the black pepper but will not make it dissapear completely. It is possible to breed out the pepper, some of the best pidgeon varieties are very clean these days.

The answer to both your questions is that some of the fry will have pepper - a little or a lot depending on genetics.
