why these juv have more than 9 bars?

Hi Shamsoo,

Did you breed them ? If yes, what are their parents ?

I have some babies that have more than 9 bars as well.
Maybe it is a genetic. Just guessing. ;D

I believe the Snakeskins have 14 bars. Did you breed them yourself?

Maybe genetic mutation. JMO. Guessing only. :)

Btw, i have the same case with yours. I have malboro red x snakeskin. I have some with more than 9 bars and some with 5 bars (small percentage only). All i can think is due to genetic mutation.

Hope someone can help / explain better. I am looking for the answer too. ;D

Snakeskin genes. One of the parents is a cross - I'm guessing the pigeonblood.

Carol is right ,somewhere in their background is the 14 bar snakeskin gene.It will be fun to watch them grow up to see what ya got.
