black discus are there ????

I was just wondering if there are black discus fish??, we al reduce the peper on the PB but if we just take 2 with a lot of peper and X them can we get black discus in a few generations????

It is possible, a friend started a line of nearly pure black discus some time ago. His developed by mutation from crosbreeding pb to red/brown discus. 25% of the young were pure black with orange throat area only. They were not a popular strain and eventually he stopped breeding them.

Yep, I have seen a all charcoal black colored discus down at the pub in a large tank, that is all i know .
Did not think much of it though.
