white Eggs

??? my blue turqs have laid eggs for the second time. The first time the male ate all the eggs immediatley, the second time all but 3 of the eggs turned white. They are now eating all the eggs and getting ready to lay again.

my water is at PH 6.8 and the GH is 3. I have peat granules in the filter. What could be wrong.

Hi Sue:
They are just young and inexperienced. I've had pairs that spawned 20 times before they got it right. just be patient :)
