help me so i can start my discus adventure asap

Im getting my discus real soon, and im just wondering If i could keep 8 discus in a 3ft tank? will they grow to optimum size? im getitng them pretty small but still theirgrowth be stunted with the size? Also if i put gravel plants rocks etc as decoration , if i do regular water changes should it be alright? THANKS

I would suggest as a new discus owner and to get them growing well you DO NOT add gravel and plants.you need to learn how to keep discus....first and get good growth. and any gravel will compromise your water . discus need extremely clean water and daily wc's to get them growing. you should be fine with that size tank.....for growing . may need bigger as adults. but you will need to do daily wc's . id say at least 50 percent. and keep the bottom clean.
