The people who live in the northern parts of the world should have a real treat tonight...

One of the largest solar flares in decades will be hitting the earth head-on today and should provide a very impressive display of northeren lights tonight...

Heard about them! Also heard that it is suppose to hit around 10am and suppose to except disruptions in cell and power. Didnt notice anything yet! Maybe the snow will melt a couple of feet! ;) ;D

Living in Kansas, we get very few opportunities to seem them. When we have had the best conditions, it's always been cloudy here for me.

My grandfather said he use to see them when he was out plowing the fields at all hours of the night.

I missed Mars due to a 3 week long rain but I think I'll try to check this one out. Clear and crisp here today ;)

If anyone get the chance to take some pictures I'd sure like to see them...
