Are GAN discus still around?

Hi All,

I've been out of the Discus sceen for a while. Just wondering what ever happen to GAN discus farm in Singapore? Are they still around? They are one of the top breeders in Singapore in the early and mid 90.

Yes but they are mainly importing and selling wild discus,plecos,altums and etc.

Whatever became of their Purple Gold Discus of the 90s? They had one that reached 9" (I assume it included the tail) in a show.

They're still very much around, I did visit them recently when i went for Aquarama.
They dont seem to be breeding any discus but they did have some wild greens and Heckels and an absolutely fabulous collection of wild caught plecos.

Thanks for the information. I wonder why the are not breeding discus any more? They seem to be so successful at creating new strains and such. I would think they've made a tons of money back then.
