I have a gazillion baby discus just off the parent's backs I want to sell some while they are still young and small to avoid having to turn my bath tub into a Discus tank as they grow! $5.00 each until they reach 1' of size. These guys are for pick up only at this age and price.

Parents are:

Red Melons from Joe. Beautifully round and perfectly clean

Red Spotted SnakeskinXBD also from Joe. This cross produces Turks, Snakeskins and Blue Scorpions. You can see the pattern differences in the fry at this point.

PBXTangerine type PB from Cary. This spawn is very uniform in size and color at this point.

Yes, I can understand why you want to get rid of a few... Discus are like rabbits. LOL. I wish someone would have warned me of this before I went ahead of myself in collecting the many fine colors/species. ;D

Nonetheless, there's nothing wrong with having a few tanks around. ;)

Hey all - just got back from Mississippi with 3 of the Red Melons, 3 Pigeon Blood X Tangerine plus she threw in 2 of the Blue Diamond X Red Spotted Snakeskin for FREE. Cool! Liz has some very nice looking pairs that are producing oodles of fries. Thanks again Liz, keep up the good work. :) :)

I second KevinM's coments. I went to visit Liz yesterday and couldn't make up my mind which of her fish I liked the best, so I got a few of each. Her adults are beautiful and big. Her 3 month old Mellons are almost as big as my adults at home.
My new babies started eating as soon as I let them out of their bags and after 24 hours all seem to be settling in nicely.

I am interested in purchasing some of your babies. I realize this post was on Nov. 15th, so you may not have any more. I live in Mandeville, LA . I am about 3 weeks away from being ready to buy some babies. Right now I have a variety of African Cichlids in my 125 gal tank. After I sell those, clean up and treat the tank, I will be ready. I am looking to have 8 - 10 different type Discus' in my tank. Not interested in pairing males & females or breeding. Thanks....Analisa

I still have some left from each of the spawns. Right now they are over 1" and the price is $10. each. In three weeks I expect they will be between $12. and $15. But the pairs all have wigglers again. If you are interested in $5.00 babies, give me about 5 weeks and they will be ready to go. I should have everything except the Melons which I have 3 different people waiting for. I do have some nice older (4 month) melons though as well as about 5 from the spawn that I started this thread with.
