Lone Discus

I had a pair of juvenile discus in a 26g tank and lost one. How will discus do alone? There are also (4) Serpae Tetra and (2) Cory Cats in there w/ the discus.

For discus to do well you really need at least 6 (unless you are talking about breeding pairs). As far as other types of fish I recommend keeping discus by themselves.

26 gal is not too big. I would go minimum 3, and expect dominance activity (can minimize if you hand feed a couple of times a day). But you are right, one alone isn't as good an idea.
