Frozen CBW?!

I had a blue tray of CBW in my shed when the temperatures went from 60F to 25F overnight. The 3/8" layer of worms was covered with 1/4" of water and froze solid.

I brought the tray in the house to let it thaw, to my surprise the worms were alive and well!

Has anyone tried freezing the little buggers with water to preserve them?

I have had this happen to Me Before! But when You freeze them all the way they are No longer usefull and can be very harmfull to Your Discus!
