Reaction to Prazi ???

I've never experienced a problem with prazi, and this may be totally coincidental ...

Last week I treated my breeding pairs (7 pairs) with the recommended dosage of prazi (per Barry Illman). I actually left for a few days vacation (Wed thru Sat) ... the fish were not fed on Thurs or Fri, last water change was Tuesday evening.

I currently have several fish that don't look right ... dark(er) and skiddish.

I lost one fish, but it wasn't looking good prior to the treatment

I have since done a 50% water change, and will do another tonight.

has anyone else had problems relating to prazi?

the only reaction I've seen, using Prazi, is a loss of red coloring around the eye. The color returned days after I stoped using the Prazi

Yes I found an adverse reaction to prazi once. I upped the dose in desperation to try to get rid of stubborn flukes and the fish looked really bad for ages but they eventually came good.

Eventually used pp instead and no more flukes.

Hey Jeff,
ya, I had a pair that I treated with prazi, the female did fine but the male was at the top breathing hard.
Stopped treatment and he recovered.
