hi there,

alot of my discus lay eggs but all of the time only about 10% survive.most of the eggs turn fungy.need help please.i change water about 10-20% and stop feeding.i put metlyn blue but that doesn't seems to help either.
any ideas? thanks.

Do the eggs get fuzzy fungus or do they just turn white? White eggs could mean your water is a bit hard or the male isn't doing his job

hi Carol, actually abit of both.usually by the 2nd or 3rd day.could it be that my water temp is cold?like i said,only 10% will hatch.thanks

If they are getting fuzzy, you may want to pick up a bottle of methyline blue. It's helped me greatly by virtually eliminating any fungus problems after the egss are laid.
