Frozen beefheart

Is it ok to use frozen beef heart, from the supermarket let it thaw out then use it in my mix will it lose all its goodness.

how are you mate? i havn't seen you around in a while...

to answer your question, i guess it's ok to use frozen b'h off the shelf. but i would still use fresh b/h from the butcher. that way you know it's fresh. have your discus taken to your b/h mix yet? i know you were having some trouble.

Hi Matt.
So busy before x-mass then went away for a few weeks but back to the grind now :( The discus do eat the mix now this is my second batch have changed a few things in it but they still don't go for it like it was the last meal. No what i mean anyway happy new year and best of luck with the fish.

O can't seem to find a butcher that has freash beef heart.
