Hi all. As you may or may not know, we went to visit Liz in Hattiesburg. We picked up some of her brilliant babies and some of her melon babies. Unfortunately for us, the blue babies didn't survive an accident involving the lack of air. So we relieved Liz of some of her larger fish too. Let me tell you, anyone that has a chance to visit Liz should not pass up the experience. What a cool lady!!! She lives at the end of a country road, with a couple of horses and some goats and lots of dogs, cats and fish, everywhere. Looked like heaven on earth to me. Her big back labs were tremendous help in packing the fish up...lol. Ok, on to the pictures. Oh, and her 1 inch fish....kinda overhang the 1 inch mark on the ruler. They all made the 13 hour trip in great shape. Thanks so much for the hospitality Liz!!!

These guys were barely old enough to leave mama's side. But they are doing well, eating golden pearls, will have bbs for them tomorrow.

melon babies, they ate happily about an hour out of the bag, and didn't seem to mind our higher ph.

I'm so glad that they made the trip easily and are happy in your tanks, Susan. Cary, I guess you're right about the little guys being tough! For you who haven't met them, Susan and her husband are wonderful, friendly people. I'd figured on spending a lot of time bagging up their fish, but these folds brought their own fish boxes, oxygen and even bags! Hubby and I bagged fish then turned them over to Susan who added oxygen and boxed them. A real assembly line operation. Thanks again guys.

Thanks for the kind words everyone :blushing: We will try to keep you all posted on their growth (assuming we dont do something stupid and have a disaster). They got a great start with Liz, she's a great fish mamma!!!
