Aside from the one pill per 10 gallon dose is there anything else I should do?

Am I supposed to perform regular water changes or let the water stay for the 5 days and then do a large water change...

I've already added an extra pump to aerate the water better...

You can dissolve the pills in a glass of water and then pour it into the tank. Also what does the direction says?

Directions don't mention water changes or no water changes, which is why I'm asking.

I do daily wc's of 50% when treating for hex.
Also temp 92 to 94F for discus.

I dose 400 - 500 mg per 10 gallons of actual water in the tank.

Raise temp to 92+, dose everyday after a 50% water change (with 92 degree water). Treat for 3 - 5 days. feed sparingly with small amounts of favorite food like bloodworms. Leave temp up for another week after treatment ends, then slowly lower a couple of degrees per day.

Fish who have been sick for weeks or months should be dosed every 8 hrs. for 3 days or so.

Empty the capsules in a small jar of very warm water and shake - pour in tank. There will be some residue of inert materials.

It may take a week before the fish starts to eat.
