Boss change

Hi all

i have a 400 lt discus tank with 7 (3 adults and 4 smallers) and some tetras and small plecos.
From last month i have my first couple -spawning but after 1-2 days other fish eat the fries.
My friend give me 2 adults of snake skin (one male and one female) and i put them in the tank 2 weeks before.
The first week the old boss of my tank fight the new male snakeskin.
From yesterday something big change.
The new male snakeskin is the new boss.
He fight the old boss and all the time try to touch the new female snakeskin but she scared a lot (always she stay under an anubia).
i would like to have your comments .

Put your pairs in their own 29 gallon tank. You don't want them fighting with each other.

Carol thank you for your suggetion.
The pair that i have ,dont fight the other fishes...
The new male of the couple snakeskin i put last 3 weeks in my tank fight my old boss (not from the pair) and he always "run" the new female snakeskin.
I m thinking to buy a new tank for my old pair but my problem is the space into my home...
