need some help with water

I am getting back into discus unfortunitly I have moved from "perfect water to very hard water with very high ph. GH=140(ppm) and KH=120(ppm) my ph is 8.6 nad I dont know where to start other that ro/di. I have a unit and can mix 50%tap with the ro/di but wahat to do with the ph. It only gets higher with aging and I realy dont want to use alot of chemicals. How does peat moss work and can I use the stuff at lowes.

Yes you can buy peat moss at Lows, just make sure it;s 100% peat moss with no addictives.
