I am going back this weekend to get a few more.
They were imported from Oliver's Brazil collecting station. The shapes are the best I've seen...I also acquired a few Blues and Pineapple Heckels.
Ken Davis at Fishfarm in Statham, Georgia imported the fish.

I'm sorry to say this, but looks like one of them might have a spinal deformity. Otherwise they both look very healthy. enjoy them.

Yeah, now that I take another look.....you mean the one on the bottom of the 3rd pic O? Does look a little funny, could just be the angle of the shot though.

Yes, that's the one. It's heart shaped and you can see that the last 3 bars are curved at the same angle. I'll let more experience folks confirm it, but looks like a heart shaped discus to me.

Rich is correct about the angle of the shot.
I have looked at the particular fish.....there is a straight line, no heart shaped indention. :heart1:

HI, It's a very high body brown, no deformates, Cary agreed when he saw the photo. I got a Red Tucurui in the shipment before this one with the same body shape, Now we know where the genes for those high body Asia fish came from. Wild fish! Some of this batch of browns are redder and for $30 you can't beat that! I have them listed in the Buy/sale section. Ken

I wanted to correct the location,,,not the Alenquer region, but farther east for the browns. They are lookin good! :gorgeous:
