pair.... need advice!!!

This is what happened to my two 5" red turq.

1) Heads pointing and bumping each other.
2) Always follow each other.
3) kinda shaking.
4) Facing oposite direction side by side, try to protect other discus from coming at the back.

Are those signs of a pair??? I just got them for less than a month.

I'm so happy if they are a pair.
Give me some advice please!!!!!! THANKS

Kevin there is a good chance they may be a pair. Have you put a pot or spawing device in the tank where they have taking over to see if they do spawn? If they do spawn give them a couple of time in the main tank before moving them into their own.

They are now pecking on a flower pot and doesn't let any fish go near it.
They are with 7 BD 4" right now.

Today is only the first day i saw them doing that, how long does it take when they can actually spawn?

They are also moving like a "S" at the same spot.

Probably just young. Watch to see if both lay eggs though ;)

Why be scared??? If you have two females then sell one and buy a male.
