And around 30 slightly younger Brilliant Cobalts. Parents are from Hans. Lighting is bad in this tank...Sorry about the washed-out appearance of the fish

I can personally vouch for Liz's fish!!! They are HARDY LIL BUGGERS. They survived a 13 hour run home and our hard, high ph water, if they can take that, they can take anything!!!! WTG Liz, can't wait for some of them Pinks...lol. Best...Susan

Beautiful fish Liz. Those brilliants are something that i'm usually looking for. But...alas, i've something else in the works. do you plan to keep breeding from that pair? Also, do you ship?

These can be picked up at my house or I can ship FedEx overnight.

Susan, glad they are still doing well. Give me a month and I'll have some Pigeons, Snakeskins, Turks, and maybe a few Blue Scorpions for you.....and anyone else who wants to get on the list. These are all BIG spawns

Just let me know on the scorps, and do not worry about shipping, I believe I can make the trip to the burg to pick up some excellent discus!!!

Hey Liz -
The Red Melons I got from you are doing great. I made up a batch of turkey mix, among other things, and the new guys and the first ones I got from you are scarfing it down. Let me know when the fry from the SSXBD pair are about an 1.5". I may like to get some of those.
thanks 8)

Good to hear that Kevin. The SSXBD pair's fry should be about that size in early March.

DD, If you can pick up, you may want to save some money and get them at 3-4 weeks. I sell them at that age for just $5.00. Of course, it's hard to see anything but the most obvious abnormalities at that age.

Ha ha ha George. I was cranking them out like hot cakes. Nothing is in the works after the SSXBD pair's :(. The other pairs need to get get with it if I'm going to keep "my public" happy ;D

Liz,

Let me know when I can come by, because I need to spend my tax check. Might as well spend the government's money on Discus. I need to get another tank for some clown loaches but I am ready for alot of Discus!! It is a Win-Win situation!!

DiscusDawg, you will be thrilled with Liz's babies. Here are some pictures of some melons that we bought from her. They were born 12/7/03 and they are eating and growing like weeds. Liz is a great gal, who really cares about her fish, as we all do. Her quality shines through.

Susan,
Those are some good looking babies. I would like about 25 like, maybe 10-20 of some others. From the pictures I have seen it does look like Liz Knows what she is doing. I'm just sorry that I missed out on those melons. I cannot wait to go to the Burg and see her setup. I am thinking that it will be a rewarding experience.

DD,

You can come get the Brilliants this weekend if you like. The Blue Scorpions won't be ready 'till the following weekend. Where are you from? How many of each are you interested in? Why not e-mail me at fcf@c-gate.net or call me at home 601 752 5326 or work 601 268 2696 and well set up something convenient for both of us without clogging up the board. BTW, the SSXBD pair produce LOTS of Turks and Snakes but not a whole ton of Blue Scorpions.

Paul, let me get back to you on that after I hear from DiscusDawg. I don't know how many he's wanting and since he asked first, I'd hate to sell them out form under him.

Liz,
I will try to call you tomorrow. I will probably only take a couple of the brillants so if phicks48 wants some he can have what he wants. I like the turks and the snakes. I need some to go with the one that I have. I might have to work Saturday if it rains tomorrow, but if not maybe we can work something out.

DD,

I seperated them from the parents over the weekend. They'll be ready to go this coming weekend. Just to let you know...and this has always been the case with my pair...the Blue Scorpions are smaller than the Turks and Snakeskins. I will try to find out whether or not this is usual.

Thanks Marge,

Give me a little time and I'll come up with some polkie-dots for you. Or if you just can't wait, give Joe at Enchanted a call and ask him about some Fruity Pebbles. He's where they came from. He can be a little slow to get around to shipping ::), but the fish are always worth the wait :D

Oh no, Kenny! Did you really hurt your back lifting that tank? You macho guys saying it wasn't too heavy. I KNOW how heavy it is! Get some Knox geietin (same stuff you put in beefheart) and mix 1 envelope with orange juice twice a day and drink it down. It'ss take a couple of weeks to start working, but it does wonders for MY old bones.

Well, at least the fish made it safe and sound.

Hey I'm in Memphis can you meet me halfway? Can you email me and let me know what you have available. I am new to this but have been doing some reading and have kept reefs for years but switched over to fresh. I have a 90 gal that would be great for a discus tank.
