not sure about set up

hi, i have 6 discus in my 55 now, and 2 clown loaches and a plecco. Now that its bare bottom the clowns seem too active, and bored flying all over the tank, seemingly scaring my discus. Should i move them to another tank?

You could provide them a hiding place. A plant in a pot or wood (real or fake) or you have to remove them.

Just have to consider that if you provide a hiding place the Discus might also use it.

I have some plants (potted) in 1 55gal and in the 125 gal.
The Discus use them to hide when I siphon or otherwise am rooming around in the tank.
In the 55 with potted plants the Discus even come during siphon and look for some food that might come up around the plant. Quite disturbing me lol.

yep, i have a pot with two enourmous plants coming out, 2 rocks and a pice of drift wood. The clowns got a new home with my cichlids tonight

Move em 6 discus will need all the space you have in that 55 gal anyway I would even move the pleco too dont want him sucking on the sides of your discus. your discus will thank you too
