Free Fish from Cary at GLD!?!?!?!?

Most of you probably remember back in December I lost around $3,500.00 in fish from an accident. Cary asked me to call him so I did. He told me that he would like to help me out by sending me some free fish. I wasn't expecting this at all. Well, today I received 12 Golden Yellows and 6 Blue Diamonds. I want everyone to know that Cary is a great person, who really cares about all of us here on this board. I will be posting some pictures as soon as they settle in a little bit. Cary, by the way I will be ordering some more from you as soon as you get some big enough to ship of what I want.

COngratulations on the new fish. Iremember reading that post and feeling very sad about the loss. THey looked like very nice fish. I am sure that you will be happy with the fish from Cary. What I have come to know about Cary is that although the obvious is true... He is a world class breeder and expert on Discus, beyond that he is a great man with a heart as big as the world. Sure this is a business for him but the reason he is in the business is because he loves the hobby. I am a very small scale hobbyist... 4 moderate size tanks. I have spent very little money with Cary (although more than with anyone else) but he has spent countless hours on the phone teaching me this hobby. You don't find this kind of dedication and friendship everywhere. I am grateful to know Mr. Strong.

AS for Cary.....I'm not surprised at all...If theres a good deed that needs to be done and Cary can help...he does. No question in my mind where his heart is in this Hobby... Way to go Mr. Strong!!! :)

I totally agree with Brew...I have know my Bro for a while now and this is just the way he is..he doesn't do things like this to have people give him kudos on the boards...there are a lot of good deeds that people never hear about...all the phone calls and e-mails to help people who haven't even bought fish from him...He loves the fish hobby and is blessed with the knowledge and the skill to raise our favorite fish and he isn't afraid to share with everyone..even the few who slam him from time to time...
So enjoy your fish and Cary my friend nice job and I am looking forward to seeing ya in a few weeks....Ya still have a open invitation at my place anytime....
