If you all haven't seen this, Airborne and DHL have merged or one bought out the other. Does anyone know if this is going to effect the shipping prices?

DHL bought out Airborne last fall.
Yes, they did raise their rates. A 4 % increase in November
and Feb. 1st they cut out all flats rates and put everyone on Zone rates. My Feb. 1st was a 6%-12% increase.
They also went from 1.35 to 1.75 for Res. deliveries.
Also the new Fuel surcharge is 5.5%

We have not raised our prices as a result of their last two
increases. We have to eat it. Just can't raise them.
It sucks when the freight is twice the value of the product.

dan, that's why you need to setup distribution centers ;)
i'll be doing something like that shortly if all goes as planned, anyone in the detroit area can get their cbw's through me.

dan i do need to talk to you about they care of large orders.
