hi
can any one tell me if these" white discus"are as robust
as the more usual colours,I would like to own some of these
guys.......I have not seen any over here in the u.k.
seen some nice ones on the "asian discus sites"
any u.s.a. web sites or breeders who breed "A" class whites

Hi Ben, Well i'm not a US discus breeder so i hope you don't mind me answering your Q.

I have owned my snow whites for nearly a year now, i have found them robust and fast growing and not difficult to pair off, no attemps have been made to breed them yet but they are laying eggs and defending territory in the community tank like any old discus so i don't expect them to be too difficult when i decide to make the effort and give them a breeding tank. Go for it, they are a really beautiful discus to keep and i think you will enjoy them very much. Also the price of the whites from asia are very reasonable now compared to when they first appeared.

hi ben how you doing, ive been breeding whites for a few months now in the uk and the fry have always been robust and fast growing, they are a striking fish and hatch out already white. hope this helps.
