Need help IDing wild green

Got this fella from a LFS about two months ago pretty emaciated, he's doing better now, but he was sold as a wild green and photographs I've seen of wild green's online would suggest otherwise, any thoughts?

Yep, that's a green, from the yellow base color I'd think it was from Colombia. Ken

Yup, green IMO...but where from is anyone's guess & doesn't really matter anyway as it is a nice fish

Its a little like asking where a person with freckles comes from....the short answer is there is no way to know unless you were the original importer .& that only tells you which country for sure.....unless you were there when it was caught or have very reliable & knowledgable sources

Hard to tell by the angle of the shot(lighting). Where it is from is probably easier to determine by the shape. The Columbian greens I saw had very visible bars, just like the one you show.
Ken, don't forget that yellow female peruvian...so yellow base?
If I could see the fish from a nice side view, I could make a more educated guess :book:
