Has anyone kept Discus and Uaru's in the same tank? If so, please describe how it worked out. Thanks!
I've heard it can be done in very large volume tanks (150 gallons+) but the ratio of discus in comparison to uaru has to be high...

uarus are big ***** cats - beautiful fish. i have never kept them together but a tankful of uarus are a sight to see. they should get more recognition in the hobby. by the way they love frozen peas.
thanks john
I have kept Uaru with very tiny angels and I know Jeff Doty used to have discus culls in with his. You need a lot of space if you are going to keep Uaru, but even more if you plan to house them with a fish like discus. Like discus, Uaru are best kept in small groups and tend to be shy and inquisitive. They are certainly a spectacular fish. They can be aggressive when spawning, though, and may rough up other fish that venture too close to their territory while breeding. Mine turned semi-aggressive toward my angels when they started showing interest in breeding.
