I heard the Ebo blue tops can be recalibrated. Can someone splain that to me? :)
1. Turn the Ebo heater on and wait till the temperture is stablize at that setting.
2. Pop the button out on top of the dial with a screw driver.
3. Adjust the dial to that temp and press the button back an you're all set. and you've just calibrated your heater.HTH
Jimmy.
Jimmy,
By poping the top... isn't there a chance that when putten back on, water may leak in? How is it sealed?
Thanks,
Bou

Nope, I've taken a Ebo apart and the top dial area isn't part of the seal, the seal is hidden under the black area at the top of the tube. Jimmy L instructions are good.
Pop the button out of the water and press it back after adjusting the dial before putting the heater back into the tank. It has a black rubber diaphram like cover underneath the dial.

JimmyL and Rick_May,
Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a shot and tell you if it works. I hope it does... because if it doesn't I'll have to buy new heaters... and that means less money for discus!!! :'( :'( :'(
Regards,
Bou
