Swordtail Fry

Not discus related but I really wanna find out if my sword tail fry should be full grown by now. They were born Christmas morning... Almost 4 months ago... Should they be full grown by now or are they stunted? ???

I only want to find out this because I wanna sell them off to an LFS so that I can make room for my incomming discus. If they are stunted, I will just give em to my discus as a live treat.... :-\ :)

Swordtail take a while to grow out fully, they should at least be an inch or two by now, though...a full grown sword tail is 4 inches and I believe it takes around 13 months for them to get there.

Ohh ok.. Thanks for the quick reply... The're probobly a little less than an inch. But since you mentioned that they take 13 months to grow fully, I guess I will keep them and don't use them as bait.LOL ;D

I think I will have to sell my fish in the community tank instead so that I will have room for my discus. ;)
