air pump with multiple outputs

Hi,

I have an air pump with 13 outputs.. must all the outputs have the same length of air lines ?
If yes, why ?

I would recommend placing valves on the tubing so that you can adjust the flow to each tank individually, the cost is very little but gives you total control on the flow you want in a give tank.

Thanks. i have valves on the outputs (metal thing ;D). My air stones were clogged ... So i was panicking .. ;D. I thought the air pump died ... ;D
