I am curious if this is mainly a breeder BBS since I see mostly see empty tanks. Anyway here is my planted tank.

Mr. Takishi Ammano (I hope I'm spelling that right) uses discus in a lot of his planted tanks, absolutely beautiful...

here's one of mine........ 135 gal semi planted ::) housing one proven pair of Discus, 8 Altums and 3 spastic clown loaches ;) and it looks like it's in need of a good cleaning :o

That is really cool Beth. I have never seen anything like that. I really like your fish and hope mine look half that good when they get bigger.

That large piece of driftwood would look sweet with some Rica attached to it.

The Africa Lotus are really gorgeous, and the fish too, of couse.

Beth, what type of plants are those.. Planted in the driftwood....?

And how do you plant them in the wood..??? ???

Anubias, java moss, java moss, and bolbitis, ALL grow on surfaces naturally. All you need to do is tie them down or wedge them in, and after a month or so, they will start growing on the surface - like ivy.
