This is my new bio-filters, I got them from a friend of mine. He used the old catalogue code and that's what he gets! ;D ;D

Acturally, I intended to keep them to breed a small local tetra that the females dispose their eggs in these type of bivalves. The hatching take places inside the shells. The mollusc provide a hatchary for the fish. But I am not sure what if any benefits the mollusc will get from this mode of associations.

thats pretty neat, good luck with the tetra breeding.

some enviroment Canada studies show that the great lakes are actually cleaner now than in years past due to the invasion of the zebra mussel and not from better control over industrial polution.
