Well, it works, as long as you click the link...
Anyone who can tell me how to post pics without having to have a link?

They look like the old Wattley turquoise strain to me, or maybe even a blue cobalt, however IMO they don't have the best shape. They're a little oval-shaped. Depending on lighting and background, discus can show a range of different shades and colors. My guess is that those fish would look lighter if they were in a lighter tank.

That looks like a violet reflection to me!! I agree though that the shape isn't great.

I did a little reading on that website and found out that they are turquoise. It looks as if a lot of the strains from that site are the "older" strains, although they did have what looked like marlboro reds/red pigeons. The site is about keeping planted discus tanks. For those interested, the main page is here:

My guess is their focus was more on the planted tank than the discus, because some of them don't look so good. Of course, for display purposes the fish are fine. They're probably just not what most hardcore discus folks would consider A grade.

I now see what you mean about the shape if the discus. I now realize and agree that they don't have the best shape. It was their great color that I was especially attracted to. Thank you all for the quick responses!

Sincerely,
Seth

No, they're not the same. They are both blue fish, but each is a little different.
