When do you consider your discus adults?

I'm just curious on people's opinions.

I know breeders do multiple daily water changes on their young, but when do you consider your discus large enough to start doing single daily water changes, when do you consider them to be grown enough to cut back on feedings?

I'd call it an adult at one year regardless of size. Not too sure on the feeding but I fed mine 4-6 times a day until they paired of and were in breeder tanks, now I'll feed them 2 times a day.
