Sick-Diagnosis please!

This discus who has had no previous problems has stopped eating, turned dark, hanging out by itself, and I noticed yesterday it was only breathing heavily through one gill. No other discus in this tank having any problems at this point so this rules out flukes, Right? Parameters are all fine. What's it's problem?I haven't changed my routine or anything recently.

Could be anything at this point, if no new fish or plants I would suspect intestinal flagellates. Any muscus hanging out of the vent?

Carol, something else that I've noticed is that he is rubbing and scratching his gills against things in the tank.

Sounds like flukes to me but Carol is the expert. ;D

Do you have any pictures of you RSGxSnowflake that you got from Cary?

If only one fish in the tank is scratching probabbly not flukes. You might want to try formalin anyway as it also works against bacterial gill infections. I don't have any recent pictrues of the rsg x flakes. I'll take some in a few days
