1) Is it 2 tablespoons per 10gl or 2 teaspoons per 10gl?

2) What is the importance of aged water none of the local breeders here use it? Most use tap and don't even treat it! I use tap but I treat for chlorine and condition the water! I am just curious thats all.

Thanks
Shive

#1 - Tablespoons per 10G

#2 - Aged water may not be required by everyone! It will depend on the level of C02 in the tap water. My water straight from the tap is 7.0 but aged will rise to 8.2 because of the dissapation of C02!

Also, not every muni adds chlorine/chloramines to the water either so again, will depend on your tap water!

Your local breeder may be using well water.
