Hello Everyone,

Thought I would post a picture of omne of the 8 discus I purchased from Barb Newell on Feb. 29/2004. I believe the age of the discus is approx. 11 weeks.

Size of the discus is approx. 3.5" from nose to tail.

In case anyone is interested the picture was taken with a Canon A80.

Hope this works.

Thanks Barb for the great looking discus.

Michael

Hi Michael, they look great! OMG... how they've grown. Excellent photography! Obviously, they're eating well! Are the other 6 ok?

I love seeing my babies, I mean "your babies".

Hi Michael, they look amazing. You've done a great job growing them out. They look healthy, fat, happy and nice and round. I'd love to see more pics!

The white butterflies are spawning right now, I'll let you know if they get anywhere with the eggs this time.

Good job

Barb :)

Thanks Judi I could not have done it with out the Simply Discus Forum and Barb. This site is very informative.

I had purchased some from Cary but never had any luck until I found out from Cary that I was using the water after a water softener which was causing problems.

After switching to the water from the taps I have had very few problems.

Rod, I believe one is an Ocean Green and the other might be a blue cobalt. but am not sure. Perhaps Barb can help. I also have a couple of Turks and a snake skin.

I'll post more pictures later. I have just comeback from a vacation of 3 weeks where all I had done was for the neighbor to feed two cubes of bloodworms a day. I thought I would have some skinny babies but they were ok.
Just trying to give them some TLC to fatten them up a bit.

Again thanks to the Simply Discus Forum for helping.

Michael
