Im glad your doing better, what a scary thing to come down with. Menengitis is a VERY serious condition and many are not as lucky as you to come thru it OK. Count your blessings and take it easy for a while so you can fully recover.
Something like this sure can give you a new perspective on your priorities.

WAY Scary and WAY painful! I had the same deal after my twins were born.. and the thoughts of it still! :puke:
infact when my little boy was having a spinal tap (as they suspected Menengitis) I literally passed out just being there and remembering back.

My friend had bacterial menengitis about 3 years ago, that was really scary. I hope you get well soon :)

I was just notified that Beth was re-admitted to the hospitol tonight. I guess she wasn't doing well. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Dear Beth, I hope you get better soon...

I had menengitis three years ago... was admitted to the hospital got every test imaginable done and they found out it was viral... which was good, for some reason, because the bacterial form of menengitis is more virulent... not that I know anything about it... but I know what the feeling is like! It hurts like a *!&#^%@^%#@(#*@(* !!!

In less then 4 days I lost 15 lbs... that's how serious meningitis is!!! and I'm sure it could of been worst!!! My thoughts are with you... and so are the toughts of your friends here at Simply!
