well..i do multiple tanks at one time. drain ..drain..fill..fill.. some are draining while im filling the smaller ones up again. then move the hose along. so...i can do a 100, a 60 and two 30s in about 30 -45 minutes. i use a magdrive pond pump on the end of a rubber hose to pump out..and a garden hose to fill. so doesnt take long at all.

It takes me 30 minutes to do two 125 litre tanks and on 330 litre tank and check the ph aswell. wiping sides down takes alittle longer.

I've got a 75 that I can change the water in less then 5 minutes. I use a 10' length of 2" hose, and drain the water into a 35 gallon trash can with a sump pump in it. My other tanks take a lot longer using a python setup. The 1/2" hose just doesn't move much water. I'm thinking of geting a set of weels for my trashcan setup so I can do them all.

It takes me about 45 min to do a 25% waterchange daily in my 125 gallon. I use a drain hose and a siphon to vacuum the bottom. I clean both of my penguin 400 filters.....(4 media packs) and then fill with buckets straight from the tap. then I wipe down the sides with an algae magnet. (note: I use straight from the tap because my ph doesn't change with aeration and aging 3 DKH with no swing).

Well, I have 2 65G with 40G sumps on each which really makes it 105G (210G total). I do around 50% wc each! Total time is around 10-15mins. ;)

April,
No drain available, I really like do like the way this is working. An added bonus is I'm watering the lawn, so the water isn't wasted. plus I don't know that I would get much more than the 10' of 2" hose because it gets pricey I think I paid around 1.50 a foot.

100 gallon takes about 5 minutes using the hose you'd use on a pool vacuum, sucks water out FAST...

Smaller tanks take slightly longer because of substrate or small fish that'd get injured by somthing so large....

All in all to do 2 40's, a 29, 100, 2 10's and 2 20 tall's takes me around an hour...

45 minutes to change 3 tanks with my trusty python. Of course if I get distracted by something shiny, it will take me about three weeks to dry out the room from the overflow and replace the carpet pad.
