New fish from Joe

Here is the fish I got from Joe.

And the female.
Asked Joe for two Males and ended up with a pairs.
The male still doesn't know what to do. The fish have been in my tank for about 21 days but spawned three times. The first time the spawned 2 days after arrival and the femail laid eggs on the tank bottom. The second time I got around a dozen free swimming but no attached.
This time is None hatched, I think.

But they have a strong potential, don't you think?

If you've already gotten eggs to hatch then they've got great potential. My female RSG lays every 3 days right now for the past 3 months but my red turq male doesn't know what to do about it, still no viable fry.

Good luck with them, they're beautiful fish, nice shape.

Congratulation Liem..bought two and got a pair out of it....you must be very lucky ...but most important is the male ir fertile...give him time...and you will be come around... BTW ...how is your San Marah babies from second batch ?

Hi Mr. T,
I would be sad if I have two females. But the "male looking" one turned out to be a female and vice versa.

Do you still want some more fish? I though you are down sizing, ha ha ha.

The fries are good. I culled a lot from this batch though but still have around 100 or so. They are about the size of a quarter. If you want some let me know.

You got a nice pair there.

I bought 8 Malboro Reds from Joe and I got 3 pairs and 1 paired up with a Red Dragon.
I have free swimming on 1 pair. It's their first time and with success. This pic was taken 2 days ago. They are now on the parents.

Finally got some fries from Joe & Hans's fish.

The female laid Lot of Eggs, 300-400 or so but only 1/4 hatched.

Ha ha ha, are those Good fish or Am I a "Natural Born Discus" breeder ;D. Just kidding ;D.

But I have those fish in my tank for only 29 days as of today :D.
