ok...this just pop into my head and i was just wondering if the temperture make a different on how the discus act? because it seem to me like at 90 degree it makes a discus lazy and react really slow? what do you guys think?

well the higher temps raise the metabolic fuctions of the fish. One would think it would be more active not less. though it maybe stressed a bit from 90 (yes i know they can take it, it doesnt mean they like it) and therefore is acting sluggish

I find the same as Fish Addict, I use the higher temp when I first get new ones to make them hungrier and get them eating quicker.

I sometimes find that my heaters are bringing the temp up higher (depending on room temp) and have only noticed because I check the temp, not because the fish have been behaving differently.
