Change of tank for mum and dad

I am going to move my pair to a breeding tank and I was wondering : will this cause them to stop spawning for a while?
They are used to spawning on the glass sides. If I place a cone in the breeding tank, will they use it or will they ignore it since they like the glass?

Hi Nicky

Let pairs to like spawn anywhere they want to do that. They like to spawn at PVC pipe or Slate strips or Brick or cone or flower pot or heater or thick airline tube or glass are nothing wrong with that. FYI when the pair laid the eggs on heater you should unplug to get another heater, Don't let heater cook up for eggs for discus breakfast LOL

Moving to a new tank may cause them to stop spawning for a while - or maybe not. You just have to try it and see how they react ;D

I think they like their new tank! ;) They just blessed it with a little over a hundred eggs! ;D ;D ;D
