Hi, thought I'd post a couple of updated pics of my golds. They've been spawning but no fry yet. Last night I moved one female looking for a male in with my checkerboards and success! The female hooked up with a nice male.

These are Dave C's pics of the golds when he got them from Cary over a year ago. I'm using the pics with Dave's permission.

in with this male checkerboard..... they fell in love immediately, spawned last night. Unfortunately, they were in hard water. Can't wait to see the fry... maybe next spawn.

Wow - They are beautiful!! How old and how big are they?
I am waiting for some Gold Diamond babies from Cary - All of my Discus are young yet and I can't wait to see if I am going to be as good as raising them up as you and others on this board have.
Lot's of luck and keep us posted with more pictures.

Hi Karen, how are you, thanks for the kind words.

The fish are between 14 and 17 months old, in that area anyway. Some of them are very large and are still growing, that male in the last pic is around 8 1/2" nose to tail. A couple of the male GPSS are 7 1/2 - 8", the females are a little smaller.

They look fantastic Barb! I can't wait to see fry!
Roy's fish are awesome but you did a super job growing them out!

Thanks Jason, I'm looking forward to seeing some yellow/ orange babies rather than the blues, greens, reds and browns.

Roys fish are magnificent!

Barb :)

PS Jason, I can't wait to see my spawning cave for my plecos and spawning cone for discus!!!!
