i have a question.. i got a pair.. yesterday around 11.. it lay eggs.. one eggs turn white.. but the others still like transparent.. light tranparent orange i think... Is it fertilise ?? or is it when the eggs is not fertilise.. it will turn white ??

White eggs are dead eggs. Fertilized eggs will turn black after 24 hours or so

Fertilized eggs and unfertilized eggs are the same color until they either turn white (dead) or black (babies)

sad... i think my eggs hasnet been fertilise... today 7 turn white... i thought once it lay their eggs.. sure will fertilise one.. really is sad thing

It takes the males a while to "learn" how to fertilize the eggs. the male must make runs over the eggs touching them with his papilla. Unfortunately many males, especially young ones just stand by and watch . . . .

He doesn't recognize them as babies - they look like food to him. Give him a few more times to figure out what's going on . . .
