TCFish,
I read that article on Friday and thought that it was excellent. You are very creative in using common tools and matreial to set up jigs that do the job.

One suggestion that I might give for anyone that is thinking about trying this, is to practice first by making a plywood tank. This would be much cheaper than learning with the acrylic. I don't mean a tank that will hold water, just something to practice with, and get the jigs worked out.

Very informative, thanks for the sharing your expertise. Paul.

there are different qualities of acrylic..and im no expert..but be careful. some yellow..and some..wont hold the weight of water.
i got a acrylic tank home made in the buy and sell type paper. the heat..made the lid warp..and the sides began to bow further everyday!! i had to get the fish out of there..and sold it for a reptile tank.
even in ones sold..there are good companies who guarantee like tru vu who guarantee for 15 years..and they dont yellow. some..are lower quality i guess..
thats all i know.
