Power Outages

Does anyone know of any heaters that are battery driven. I have power outages from time to time especially in the winter and other than buying a generator I'd like to know about any type of special heaters.

Sorry, I have never seen any. :(
Depending on the duration; if your tanks are insulated it helps to slow the cooling down...

What I do is use those battery back-up systems for computers. I bought mine from Sam's Club for like $80. It will last me several hours when it is running my central air pump.

I keep my house at 66 degrees with propane space heaters. discus do just fine for a couple of days at 66
