Discus "pairing"

At what size or age do discus usually start pairing up?I have 6 in a 125 gallon and I'v noticed 2 of them are ALWAYS together.I do not know how old they are but they are about 4" + or -.

They will usually start to pair up around 8-10 months of age. Most males will not be mature enough at this age to fertilize the eggs. If they start to lay eggs, just let them practice for a little bit in the community tank before/if you move them into their own breeding tank.
